R Beliefs

About God
God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He is three in one, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit all in one Godhead.
(John 10:30, 1 John 5:7-8, Colossians 1:16)

About Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is the Son of God, who lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on a cross. He arose from the dead after three days, ascended to heaven, and is presently reigning over His kingdom, and will return again. (Daniel 7:13-14;1 Thessalonians 4:14; Romans 5:8-9)

About the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and helps transform the believer into Jesus Christ's image.
(2 Corinthians 3:17; John 16:7-17. John 14:26)

About the Bible
The Bible is God's Word to us. It was written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living. Because it is inspired by God, it is the absolute truth and contains no mixture of error.
(2 Timothy 3:16-17, 2 Peter 1:20-21; Psalm 119:160)

About Human Beings
People are made in the image of God to be like Him in character. Although every person strives to do good, we all fall short of obedience to God which is sin. Sin separates people from God.
(Genesis 1:27; Isaiah 59:1-2, Romans 3:23)
About the Believer's Security

Because God gives us eternal life through Jesus Christ, the true believer can be absolutely confident that God will carry through on His agreement to save us. Our salvation is guaranteed by God. The only thing that can stop us from gaining salvation is if we ourselves decide to reject God's grace. (Galatians 5:4; John 10:29; Hebrews 7:25)

About Eternity
People were created to exist forever. We will either exist eternally separated from God by sin in Hell or eternally with God in Heaven through salvation and forgiveness. Heaven and Hell are real places of eternal existence. (John 3:16; 2 Corinthians 5:1; Revelation 20:15)

About Baptism
We practice baptism by immersion underwater. It’s the way Jesus was baptized, and the way that the Bible teaches. Baptism is a public display of one dying to self and being resurrected as a new creation in oneness with Jesus Christ. (Acts 2:38; Colossians 2:12, Matthew 3:13-17)

About Communion
Communion is a time of remembrance for us of Jesus’ death and resurrection and to look forward to His coming again. The bread and wine are a symbol of His body and blood which He willingly sacrificed for us. (1 Corinthians 11:23-26; Matthew 26:26-28; Luke 22:19-20)
R Core Values

Live a Love Led Life
God is love so all of our thoughts, words, and actions are led by love to glorify Him. (1 Corinthians 13:4-8)

Forever Forgiving
God our Father forever forgives and so we forgive in the same way that we have been forgiven. (Colossians 3:13)

Graciously Give Grace
Grace is needed in generous amounts for a second chance. We give grace freely to others as it has been graciously given to us by God. (Hebrews 4:16)

Magnify Mercy
Mercy is compassion on display from God and is magnified as we extend it to one another. (Matthew 5:7)

Courageous Conversations
Courageous conversations that are led with love, forgiveness, grace, and mercy will bring restoration to any relationship, including between our brothers and sisters in Christ as well as between God and mankind.
(2 Timothy 1:7-8 & Matthew 18:15-17)
